It was a tour of our partner's Colina plant. Aceros AZA, Chile's leading producer of green steel and the largest scrap recycler.
On the occasion, ACENOR's executive team and the delegates visited the scrap yard, steel mill and rolling mill. Afterwards, Rodrigo Sepúlveda, head of Energy Development; Argenis Pichardo, Energy Efficiency Engineer and Julio Manterola, head of Communications at AZA Aceros, presented the company's energy efficiency roadmap, highlighting the work they have done in recent years to reduce and make their consumption more efficient.
ACENOR's executive director, Javier Bustos, the company thanked and highlighted this valuable visit, which is very useful for members to learn about best practices in energy efficiency and production processes. The idea is that the initiative will be repeated in other industries, with the objective of having a greater approach with the free clients.
