ENAMI is a company of the State of Chile that for 60 years has contributed decisively to the promotion of small and medium mining in more than 40 towns in the country, generating development through a unique business experience.
The Hernán Videla Lira Smelter is the first state-owned smelter in the country, officially inaugurated on January 26, 1952. Through the pyrometallurgical process, the FHVL, or Paipote Smelter, processes a wide variety of mining products and has a nominal processing capacity of 340,000 tons of N.U.C. (new payload) per year, of material that comes from its own plants and from purchases made from third parties.
FHVL belongs to EMANI, a Chilean state-owned company that for 60 years has decisively contributed to the promotion of small and medium mining in more than 40 locations in the country, generating development through a unique business experience.
